Powder Magazine names Dan Egan one of the "Top Skiers of All Time." And it is no wonder, when extreme skiing was emerging as a daredevil sport, Dan Egan established his reputation as one of the premier adventure skiers in the world. Warren Miller, an International Award Winning Sports Film producer for over 45 years, first recognized Egans abilities, and used him in 12 of his films. In the ensuing years, Egan has become an award-winning producer in his own right, and has been nominated for three Emmy Awards.
His Wild World of Winter television series continues to air today. His programs regularly appear on United and America West Airlines and he syndicates shows to over 70 million homes. Dan has also authored two books and produced a dozen videos on skiing. Dan founded the Egan Entertainment Network, Inc. (EEN) in 1989 to market and promote skiing around the world. EEN has created promotions and multi-media shows reaching consumers at theaters, ski shows, retail outlets, corporations, and universities around the world. Egan leads and participates in adventure travel trips ranging from the Alps to the Artic. He co-founded Skiclinics.com and coaches the X-team Advanced Ski Clinics all over the world.
